DT Challenge Card.. No Designer Paper...Randomly Stamped

Late again...... This is my DT card this week for the challenge over at Penny's Challenge Blog.
This week it is "NO" Designer Paper and randomly stamped. So i stamped the sentiment Santa's on his way.... onto a red base card using black Memento ink.
I stamped and coloured two little Santa's using PM'S and decided not to go with traditional Santa suit colours.
A touch of gold organza ribbon and a gold peel-off.

Lemon And Lime Challenge Card

This is my second challenge card today.

The challenge is for Rosie-D's Lemon And Lime Challenge

This is what i created,the background is done using a Lime PM pen.

I drew and cut out 1 Lemon and 2 Limes from Bazzill cardstock,i then used an emery board to give a distressed look to the fruit.

I threaded three buttons onto a piece of elastic and attached to right side of the card as an alternative to a dash of ribbon...hope this counts?????

I highlighted the fruit with a white marker.

I then wrote the sentiment "Have A Zesty Day!!!"

Receipe:Lemon cardstock for base card

Cardmaking And Papercraft Magazine...So Proud!!

This is a great magazine and i think it is one of the best for idea's,tutorials and cardmaking designers to get tips and solutions from.
But i must be honest this particular edition is my most favourite ever,why ????
because i am featured with one of my card designs.

How cool is that to be in a magazine with the designers you have followed and taken heaps of inspiration from.
I mean im in with Sharon Armstrong,Dulcie Jackson and Dorothy Wood three designers i have followed since i started out on my card and papercrafting journey and gained lot's of inspiration and techniques to use in my crafting from all of them,as they all have their own very different styles.

I also recieved a gorgeous book entitled Christmas Papercrafts for being choosen,which is written by Corrinne Bradd and has lot's of gorgeous designs and ideas for this next coming three months.
