Bear Hugs.... DT Card For Pennys Challenges This Fortnight.
For this bi-weekly challenge i decided to do something other than a card,so i made a little Bear Hugs gift bag.
The gorgeous little die-cut bear was given to me by the lovely Susie over at http://sassydesignsbysusie.blogspot.com/ please go checkout her store Die Cut Dreams you can find the link in my sidebar.
There are lots of goodies to choose from!!!
The flower i made using my punch, pink card, irredescent red paper and cream vellum.
I used red ink to edge the pink petals and around the edges of the bag.I stamped lips with red ink and hearts with black ink all over the front and back of the bag.
I used a red glitter button for the centre of the flower and threaded it with a red cotton
and a piece of silver curling ribbon to hang from the handle.
I coloured the bear with a little chalk and made a little red card heart for him to hold with the words I Love You written across.
Please remember to visit all the other wonderful DT blogs to see there super creations..

Wedding Order.....
As promised one of the Wedding cards i was working on before christmas....
My First DT Card Of 2010 For Penny's Challenges
This is my first card of 2010...
The theme this week at Penny's Challenges is Chalk.
Firstly i punched out my flowers and used the left over as a stencil.
I used blue and white chalks to do the flower background on my base card.
Then once this was done i sprayed with a little hairspray to fix the chalk.
I then coloured my punched out flowers using the same colour chalks as before.
I curled the petals using a bone folder.
I punched out some silver swirls and used as the flower middles and leaves.
Then i punched out some small flowers using Turquoise blue Bazzill Bling and adhered little pearls in white and silver to the middles.
I uesd 3D foam pads to put all the flowers in place and give a dimensional look to the design.
I added a circle sentiment and a little piece of silver and white ribbon which i bowed.
Please do remember to checkout the other DT's work!!!!!
Hope you like my first card of the new year....
